3 reasons why beige is not a boring colour

Hi everyone, I’m back with another “3 reasons” styling post!

Beige is having a moment and I couldn’t be any happier! Can I just say I loveeee the beige trend? Beige has always been one of my favourite colours since it’s a neutral colour. It’s a versatile colour and absolutely not boring! Here’s why:

1// we all know beige doesn’t pop as much as the colour red. However, since it’s a colour that doesn’t scream attention, you can easily add dimension to your look by going for different kind of textures, which will eventually make you pop without trying too hard. Think of cotton, linen or silk for instance. Opt for a beige silk shirt. It makes you look sophisticated yet luxurious. Boring? Hmm I don’t think so.

2// some people may think beige will make their skin look sickly. However, I believe this colour is suitable for every skin tone if you find the right hue. Think of ecru, vanilla, oatmeal, biscuit, creamy or sandy shades. The secret is to choose a beige shade that isn’t too similar to your skin tone. Bonus: beige is also suitable for all ages and body type (yes, even for postpartum bodies like mine!).

3// if you want to go for a classy look, a beige shade is everything you need. Go for beige on beige. It’s actually suitable for all seasons, plus it adds an elegant touch to your outfit. Bonus: if you want to make your look even more interesting, pair it with gold jewellery. So chic.

Alright, that’s it for today! What do you think of beige? Would you wear this beige trend?

I’m wearing

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Until next time,

I don’t normally wear beige I think mainly because I find it hard to find a beige shade that flatters me. But I love your tip in finding one that contrasts with your skin tone, you’re right! Your beige outfit really flatters you and your colouring, I love it! You’ve convinced me to wear more beige now <3
