Lets talk about something different today. I’m sure you can’t miss the explosion of red/pink hearts, balloons and roses lately..Yes guys..Valentine’s Day is fast approaching — next week to be precise.
We all know Valentine’s Day is all about spending time with your special someone..you know that type of person who makes you happy, laugh, feel good and most importantly, he or she understands you and makes you a better version of yourself. Now I believe that if you feel comfortable with him or her around you, you’d automatically wear something comfortable too.
So ladies, don’t feel the need to wear dresses or skirts just because it’s V-Day (unless you feel ok about it). I honestly don’t like wearing dresses or skirts in the winter time as it’s so freaking cold outside! And I know there are millions of thermal tights or leggings out there, but it just feels “so—so”. So for me, a pair of wide bottoms and an oversized knit will be my (not) so typical V-Day outfit. These pieces are super comfy, I can eat as much as I want, without feeling awkward (nobody will see your tummy anyway). Plus, I’m able to focus more on my other half instead of worrying about whether the button of my skirt/dress pops open (does anyone feel me on this?). Comfort is key. And in the end, it’s not the appearance that counts, it’s your personality. Right? :)
On a side note: I’m wearing the newest lipstick by Clinique here (shade: dune pop)! It’s actually a powder lip shadow and I’m loving it ever since I got it! It comes with a sponge applicator, you just need one dip (dip it into the cap) and that’s it! It feels super light, it stays for a long time and it doesn’t dry out my lips! Perfect for those occassions (such as V-Day) where you want to wear lipstick, but don’t want to feel that lipstick-y (if that makes sense hehe).
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Until next time,
