If you think a denim jacket can only be worn in the spring/summer…Think again. A denim jacket is such a great outerwear piece for all seasons. It’s light enough for spring/summer but also warm enough for fall.
When it comes to fall, it’s all about layering pieces. A denim jacket can be paired with almost anything and it goes never out of style. Here are a few tips to wear denim jackets, even when the temp continues to drop…
• If you like oversized items just like me, go for an oversized denim jacket. I love the fact that it’s loose (but not bulky) and efforlessly stylish at the same time. If it’s chilly outside, wear a down jacket or a cardigan underneath. It works, even when you leave your jacket(s) open. You have my word.
• Did you know that you can wear a denim jacket as an inner jacket as well? Simply wear your coat over the jacket et voilà: another effortless look has been created!
• Wrap an oversized scarf around your neck. It looks super cool and it keeps you nice and warm too.
• This is one of my favourite “when I have nothing to wear” pairings. Knits + denim. Knits and I are inseparable during fall, I just have a weak spot for them. Simply throw a denim jacket over a (knitted) sweater and you’re good to go!
How would you style your denim jacket this fall?
